Job Description

  • To coach Maxvalu operation staff based on
    merchandising planning:
  • Sales area management based on assortment & schematic plan focusing
    on Guidance to improve implementation and monitoring to MV Operation
  • To provide advice, direction, or support to help Maxvalu team to manage selling
    areas based on schematic plan and sales planning
  • To coach OP for displays methods, product price label attachment, check sa les,
    discount, from receiving to display t ime, FIFO, and other SOP …
  • To track progress from expected outcomes, and provide insights to inform
    Operation Team for corrective actions such as SOP and other ru les into practice
  • To execute strategic planning such as EDLP, Promotion to maximize sales & GP
    based on sales planning from HOD of merchandising
  • To prepare weekly/ monthly reports above tasks presenting to GM and SGM
  • Execution for MV business models and new MV store opening and
    coaching new MV operation staff
  • To monitor MV operation staff for new store opening preparations to make sure
    MV operation to execute tasks such as display schedules, display method, shelf
    adjustment, foamboard & POP planning .. . based on planning from HOD of
    Merchandising
  • To coach MV operation to corrective actions based on type of business model for
    each store patterns to maximize sales & GP based merchandising planning such as
    schematic plan/ SOP/ …
  • Sales Analysis & Inventory Management for Coaching OP–how to do for:
  • Sales Tracking: Monitor dai ly/weekly/ monthly key performance indicators (KPis)
    such as inventory turnover, fast moving slow moving & slow-moving SKU
  • management, aging stock management based on data analysis by merchandising
    coordinator team
  • Stock Planning: Advise MV operation staff and ordering team for maintaining
    healthy inventory by monitoring inventory to prevent out of stock/over stock
  • Promotion Support: Execute the promotion list with MV operation staff to take
    into practice in store with proper daily check on top SKU to prevent OOS
  • Replenishment: Guidance MV operation staff to manage refill stock from
    backroom, after immediately receiving such as freshness to chiller displays to
    avoid product spoiling and advise the reorder quantities to ensure the right
    product is available at the right time based on sa les-throw
  • To report to HOD after store visits about OOS, and other issues to take immediate
    actions
  • PDCA: Plan=>Do=>Check => Action for OP based merchandising planning

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields of retailing business, encourage for those who
    have both Operation and merchandising experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position in another industry
  • Strong passion in retail business
  • Good at in Implementation, Monitoring, and Guidance
  • Honesty, Sincerely and Integrity
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be creative and detail-orientated
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to inspire others
  • High willingness to explore, accept changes & challenges
