Assistant Merchandising Manager (Able to use Japanese and English)

Job Description

  • Developing products (Bakery, Dessert and Japanese food) and managing their sales plans.
  • Japanese supplier negotiation
  • Find assortment _ New Items
  • Analyze assortment <Slow/ fast moving item>
  • Prepare schematic plan/ update schematic plan
  • Negotiations <Price, Promotion, trading term, demand plan,..
  • Planning <Promotions, Fair and other activities to drive more sales>
  • Ensure OP execute the plans correctly <Schematic plan, Promotion, SOP…>
  • Trading Term Agreement Renewal
  • Analyze sales and GP
  • Generate GP2 such as space rental, and other rebates
  • Market survey weekly
  • Ensure above tasks compete deadline
  • Other tasks assigned by Manager/ Division Head
  • Other office works

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields
  • At least 1 years of experience in a comparable position in another industry
  • A background in merchandising, marketing, and/ or is preferred
  • Learns quickly and have willing to share
  • Able to perform under pressure and positive attitude
  • Good Health condition & good teamwork
  • Able to work rotate weekend or holiday
  • Good in Japanese and English both verbal and writing
  • Good in Microsoft Excel
