Hard Line Merchandising Assistant Manager

Job Description


  • Management of all key performance indicator Merchandising in hard line in AEON CAMBODIA.
  • Responsibility of Sales, Margin amount, GP1%, Turn over day.
  • Realize reliable assortment.
  • Support of Education to merchandiser
  • Explanation of merchandising plan to operation team.
  • Communication with related party.
  • Evaluation of staff.
  • Survey of market and competitor.
  • Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget.
  • Management of supplier.


  • Participate in company events such stock take, tree planting and other Corporate Social Responsibility as assigned.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the Company standards.
  • To provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • To maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.
  • To read the Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the company’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.

Job Requirement

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, and suppliers
  • Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company
  • Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Math skills to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company
  • Communicate with related oversea company’s staff, HOME CORDY HQ, ATV Hongkong, ATV Vietnam, AEON Thailand, AEON Malaysia in Japanese and English.
  • Get HOME COODY item’s information from HC web site and internal source in Japanese, and then share them to our staff in Khmer after translation by herself.
  • output some data from profit system as GM request, and then share them with HL team.
